Every now an then I find myself purchasing GW items.  Well a few weeks ago I needed some more paint brushes and all that were available were new GW brushes.  I figured I would give them a go.  Wow.  I have to say they really hit them out of the park.  These new Citadel brushes are awesome.  I am normally used to using 00 or 000 brushes.  The Citadel brushes were much bigger and longer than what I was used to. 

 

What I find really interesting with these brushes is they seem to hold the paint better than brushes I have used in the past, which makes it easier to apply.   I am not exactly sure why this is, but I have to say I was really impressed. I also found that you could really achieve a nice point at the end of the brush for detailing figures.  I think I would still use a 000 brush for eyes and such, but these are now going to be my go to brushes for figures.

 

I picked up the Detail Brush, Standard Brush, Basecoat Brush, Small Drybrush, and the Medium Drybrush.  I have heard good things about the Wash Brush.
